Bienvenue Midna !!

Introducing Tempete Bleue du Bleu Merle de l’Autan 💜  Tempete means ‘Storm’ and is very dear to me.  She is called Midna after the character in the Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.  It is a name I had picked out for many years & it fits her perfectly!

After a long wait, and a long journey, Midna is home from France!   She is 4 months old – the soonest she was allowed to fly home due to new airline requirements.  I couldn’t be happier she’s finally here.  I am very grateful for her breeders for welcoming me into their home & sending this special girl home with me.  It was a very nice visit in France full of really nice experiences & lots of good food.  Her breeders have done an exceptional job raising her & the results really show!  I look forward to wherever our journey together takes us.

Midna comes from a long line of working dogs, including lots of herding dogs, tracking dogs, agility and even has Grimm War as her great grandpa who competed in ring sport (bitework/obedience).  Midna’s dad Pitt-Choun, mother Mosca and grandma Javah work sheep daily.  They are excellent workers and it was a joy to see them all in action with their sheep, each with their own style.  Mosca also won best open female at the French breed national in 2019 – a huge accomplishment!  Pitt was the 2nd place intermediate male at the 2021 breed national & one of the most handsome FR males I’ve seen!  His personality is super cool too.  Midna’s parents have really excellent type, nice confident temperaments and really good drives.  It was very nice to meet them & spend time with them.

I absolutely adore her parents & grandma.  I have admired them for quite some years and after meeting them I like them even more!  I feel very lucky to get to share life with this incredible little puppy.  & if all goes well, she will be added into my breeding program when she’s older and passed her health testing.

The little one handled the travel like a pro & was happy and confident to walk thru the busy Paris airport, unphased by everything the whole journey.  She hasn’t missed a beat since leaving France & is already quite settled at home.  Merci beaucoup Joelle & J-Luc for everything! 😘
