As a breeder, I put utmost care into making sure I am producing quality, healthy dogs, that are highly capable from proven (work/sport) lineages. I have spent countless hours researching pedigrees and continue to further my knowledge on health and genetics in this breed. With over a decade intense interest in pyrsheps, I have followed many lines, visited with many pyrsheps all across Europe and the US & have since imported some amazing dogs which fit my interest and program. I strive to produce stable, confident dogs with nice drives, cheeky & traditional appearances with proper coat amount who can excel at any activity they’re involved in. Puppies are raised following aspects of the Puppy Culture + AviDog programs. I put my heart into my program, raising my puppies and put just as much care into making sure my incredible puppies are placed in their best, and most appropriate homes.

My dogs train, compete & excel in a variety of sports and activities. Including, but not limited to, agility, obedience/rally, herding, search/scentwork, dock diving, lure coursing, french ring (bitework/obedience), canicross, tricks, etc. I extensively health test my dogs with results submitted to OFA. My breeding dogs have their CHIC certifications (this requires OFA hips, OFA elbows, OFA patellas & DNA repository) with passing results. I also go beyond CHIC and do additional testing on my dogs. This additional testing includes prcd-PRA testing, merle SINE length, weak furnishings, etc. For me, it is also important to collect data on the breed & to satisfy my own curiosity and education. All my dogs, and studs I use, are also Embark tested. Using this info helps me decide pairings with clear health & low COI% with genetic diversity. Something that is not only crucial in a rare breed with a small gene pool – but also vital to having good longevity, health and vigor in offspring.

Before going home, my puppies will be Embark tested and have their eyes checked. Puppies will also come AKC registered & microchipped. I produce poil long (long haired), demi (in between) & face rase (smooth coat) puppies. Proper coat amount & traditional appearance is very important in breed preservation and also my program. For potential puppy-buyers, I am also happy to answer any questions about any of my dogs or program. However, I do not take reservations for certain color or coat types.

PYRWILD puppies will never be cropped or docked. ❤️

I am a member of the R.A.C.P. (French breed club), PSCA (US breed club) & LEAPSS (Lake Erie Area Pyrenean Shepherd Society) . I am a part of the PSCA Versatility Committee. & I am also an active admin of the Pyrenean Shepherd Pedigree database. Locally, I am a member of the Winnegamie Dog Club.
