Winter Update

Mayhem earned his MACH in Nov, turned 9 years old and went into retirement from competing.  He went out with a bang earning 1st and 2nd places each day having a blast.  What an incredible little dog he is.  I am so grateful for the journey we’ve had together, all he’s taught me and everywhere he’s brought me.

And Zae qualified for AKC nationals !!  How exciting.  Nationals will be in March in Perry, GA.  Zae is also now one jumpers score away for qualifying for World Team Tryouts in May in Minnesota.

Onnea is just about 10 months old and we are having so much fun !!  We’ve begun truffle hunting.  We had our first bitework seminar with a decoy together.  Her agility foundations are going well.  We continue going on lots of adventures.  O is such a special little girl and each day my love grows for her even more !! ❤️

 

Stormy is also doing well.  She hasn’t slowed down one bit. She’s such a special dog to me and holds so much of my heart.  Grateful for each day we enjoy together.

  • Teeter Tune-Ups has been revamped into a 12 week long online course and will run Feb-April 2020.  Registration is already open 📚

Introducing Onnea 🍀

This special little girl came home from France this past weekend.  I am so in love with her already and she’s already bonded knowing that I am her person.  There’s something so special about the way she looks at me.  She is confident, determined, crazy playful, super sweet and tiny !   I am in such awe with this perfect little girl.  You can find me over the moon. ❤️

Her name means ‘good luck’ or ‘congratulations’ in Finnish.  Why the Finnish name ?  Well, because I was originally supposed to bring home a puppy from Finland but fate twisted the stars otherwise bringing me to her.  I kept the name.  I think the name fits her perfectly. 🍀

I look forward to all that is to come with this special little girl and sharing life with her.  She’s already my little world traveller.  Welcome to the PYRWILD pack little Onnea.

Happy 4th Birthday Zae !

Crazy to believe my little skipskap is already four years old !  It was his birthday dec 19th.  What a special little dog he is- I am so glad he decided to be mine.  🙂

Zae has really transformed a lot in the last year and we’ve really begun to strengthen as a team.  We have two days of competing this weekend up in Washington and am looking forward !  He’s been doing super in training and I am feeling quite inspired. 🙂  Counting down to tryouts…

Zae Qualified for WTT 2019 !!

Feels so unreal !  AWC has always been my dream and biggest goal since I started competing in agility in 2009.  Something that always felt very far in the future or out of reach.  We’re not there, yet.  But we’re closer.

Qualifying for and attending tryouts (in May !) is a major dream come true in itself- to have gotten this far feels incredible.  And with my little dog who some years ago I didn’t even think would end up doing any agility. 🙂  We kept at it and never gave up.  Dreaming turned into little steps and planning as we keep unfolding towards our path.  The beauty is in the journey and continuing to live out our dreams is such a cool feeling !

Today’s message truly is Never Give Up and Keep Dreaming ❤️ If you keep going, even taking baby steps, you’ll end up somewhere. 🙂

I am so thankful for these special dogs and the lives we get to live together each day.
